(ContentDesk) July 6, 2005 -- Strumbum model Elaina Vaccaro will strut her stuff in an effort to capture the LA regional title and a slot in the US Air Guitar Championship Finals on July 14th at Hollywood's famed Key Club.
Vaccaro, a seasoned jazz dancer, may prove to be real competition, a dark horse for sure. In an effort to find a willing female candidate to sponsor, Air Guitar Company CEO Paul Thatcher put his tail on the block.
Had Vaccaro won the cut of the deck, Thatcher would have had to clean up and cut off his ponytail.
Thatcher is using the timing of this event to launch his new line of women's Strum Undies featuring the "air guitar string" thong available online -airguitar.com.
The campaign tagline "Show off your air guitar (strings)" tells all.Vaccaro a.k.a. Bridal Corset
Gone are the days when most brides were happy to walk down the aisle in a crisp white gown. These days they not only want their dress to be elegant but also sensual. Many are turning to a custom made wedding corset in exotic fabrics like velvet, satin and silk, that accentuates and flatters their curves giving them an ideal hourglass figure. Many bridal corsets are custom made and have to be ordered a few months before the wedding. But you can pick one from a wide variety of bridal corsets that are available online or in any lingerie shop.
The bride is not the only one who is wearing a corset in today's wedding. There are Victorian-theme weddings where the entire bridal party wears corsets. The look is stunning on bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom. For the modest, a shapely corset may be worn under a jacket. It will add a beautiful shape without showing how!
Some popular bridal corsets are the over busts that suit all kinds of figures....
Women's Bathing Suits To Suit All Shapes
Shopping for women's bathing suits can be a daunting task because most women believe that bathing suits compliment only those with the perfect hourglass figure. This is not so. If you consider that very few have perfect figures, then you'll realize that there are many swimsuit options that can look great with your own body type.
You have the option of wearing one- or two-piece suits if you have large hips, but you should wear solid colors on the bottom to add more emphasis to the top part of the body. Remember that high-cut legs emphasize the hips, so try to buy low-cut legged suits.
If you are slightly overweight, try wearing string bikinis.
However, string bikinis may not sustain strenuous physical activities so they are not very appropriate for women who play a lot of sports such as beach volleyball.
Wear medium to high-cut legs, and suits with wide straps if your shoulders and bust are broader than your hips, and emphasize on colors...

Plaid Skirts
The old phrase 'Mad about Plaid' seems to sum up the fashion forecast for this upcoming season. It seems plaid skirts are here to stay. In fact, it is quite interesting to observe how plaid hovers lightly over emerging trends season after season without losing its identity. What is it about this perennial style that gives it such resilience? Most women chalk it up to its versatility. Plaid skirts can be dressed either up or down, making them a valuable wardrobe staple.
Plaid is a classic pattern with a wide scope for incessant variations. While hip clubbers choose to accessorize dark-hued plaid skirts with studded belts or lace-up stilettos, the preppy chick prefers to team flirty, pleated plaid skirts-often in vibrant combinations with sneakers or basic pumps, a pair of matching tights and perhaps a brightly colored Polo shirt. These patterned pieces call out for the season's winning hues-teal, purple, pink, electric blue, orange and moss green-most often mixed...
Home Business Ethics are Essential
Copyright 2006 www.eliasg.com
Eighteenth century thinker Denis Diderot once noted, "There is no moral precept that does not have something inconvenient about it."
The underlying truth of that statement is one reason some people seem to have difficulty operating an ethical home business.
Ironically, however, those seeming inconveniences can actually turn out to be advantages.
Those who try to short-cut real important business values aren't doing themselves a favor on either an ethical or a financial plane.
The temptation to skirt ethics comes from our strong desire to generate profits and to experience personal success.
Most people who operate their own businesses are very driven by their aspirations and when all that seems to stand in the way of greater profits is an ethical question, they may be tempted to turn a blind eye to what is right.
That willingness to overlook principles might seem like a solid business...
Gypsy Fortune Teller Halloween Costumes ? Easy to Make
As a little girl I often loved to dress up as a gypsy, whether it was for Halloween or just for play. Maybe it's because I long to be free to do as I want and go where I wish, without the societal constraints we have to live by (that's why pirates are so fascinating to people too). Whatever it is, creating a fortune teller costume was the highlight of Halloween.Back then there weren't many places to buy fancy costumes (nor did we have the money), so putting my own costume together was a bit of a challenge. Today we can purchase practically any costume we can think of and there are some pretty nice fortune teller Halloween costumes to choose from.** A Brief History of Gypsy Costumes **The gypsy people were called Roma or Romani. They are made up of loose nomadic tribes that wandered much of the European countries during the Middle Ages and often lived in caravans.
There are still nomadic gypsies in the world today. In the 15th and 16th centuries, the basic dress of the woman was...

BYO Water When You Fly
A recent random sampling of airplane drinking water revealed a shocking statistic: the tap water on one in eight planes had harmful bacteria including coliform and E. coli.Consequently, the Environmental Protection Agency has directed some airlines to test their own water, only once a year per aircraft, though. There have never been any regulations for potable water on planes. The E.P.A. now says it plans to regulate airplane water. But first -- they will take samples from 169 flights over the next two years. "This drop in the bucket hardly constitutes an effective investigation.
There are more than 169 flights landing every two hours at Chicago's O'Hare Airport," says jet safety and wellness authority Diana Fairechild.Fairechild adds, "Though airline planes fly high and fast, airline regulations fly slow and low, if at all.""Thirty years ago," she said, "when my stewardess uniform had a mini skirt and bowler hat, I asked a Pan Am mechanic how they treated the drinking water because...
